What changed
A concise summary of the work delivered in this release.
- Registration now sends a verification email instead of signing the user in immediately.
- Unverified accounts are blocked from production sign-in until the email link is used.
- Password reset requests now deliver real emails through Resend.
- Support and auth mail now use domain-based addresses instead of a personal-looking product inbox.
User value
How this release improves the experience, workflow, or control users get from LoreKeep.
- New accounts now need one email-confirmation step before they can log in.
- Forgot-password links arrive through a real production sender instead of only existing as dev output.
- Support and auth communication now look more trustworthy during private beta.
Full notes
Additional context, implementation notes, or rollout details for this release.
Account auth is now closer to a real product baseline instead of a dev-only shortcut. New registrations create the account, send a verification email, and wait for confirmation before sign-in is allowed. Password recovery now sends live mail through Resend using the new lore-keep.com sender setup, while support mail routes separately through support@lore-keep.com. This closes the gap between local testing and a believable private-beta production flow.
