Welcome to the LoreKeep Forum! - Version 1.0.0
LoreKeep now has a built-in forum for community discussions, support, bug reports, feature requests, and media tracking conversations.
This first version includes:
• Forum categories and boards
• Thread creation and replies

• Basic moderation tools

• Locked and archived thread states

• Post formatting tools for bold, italic, links, quotes, code, spoilers, and lists

• Image uploads for screenshots

• Inline image placement inside posts

• Separate forum image storage, independent from catalog and library cover images
The forum is still early, so it will continue improving over time. Planned improvements include better user profiles, reactions, notifications, richer formatting, and more community tools.
For now, this thread can also be used to track forum-specific updates as the system improves.
This is the first public version of the LoreKeep Forum. More improvements will arrive over time, and this thread will be updated as new features are added.

Forum Update(Version 1.0.1): Better editing, moderation, and navigation
A more consistent forum layout:
  • Forum sections now use a compact nested layout with clearer separation between section headers and boards.
  • Board pages follow the same visual structure as the forum index.
  • Thread lists are denser and easier to scan, with improved column proportions for authors, replies, views, and latest posts.
  • Spacing, borders, hover states, and responsive behavior are now consistent throughout the forum.
  • Smaller screens prioritize the most useful thread information without horizontal overflow.
Improved post editor:
  • The editor now provides a richer writing experience with formatting and live post previews.
  • Images can be pasted, dropped, or uploaded directly into posts.
  • Uploaded images can be placed between paragraphs, dragged to a new position, resized, aligned, floated beside text, captioned, or marked as spoilers.
  • Published images can be opened in a larger preview.
  • Forum images continue to use dedicated storage separate from catalog and library covers.
Easier replies and post management:
  • Posts can now be quoted directly into the reply editor.
  • Individual post links can be copied for easier sharing.
  • Editing now happens directly inside the original message instead of opening a floating editor, making long posts much easier to update.
  • Edited posts display their latest edit time.
  • Authors and authorized staff can edit posts according to their permissions.
Stronger moderation and section controls:
  • Moderators, content editors, developers, and administrators can hide or permanently delete posts.
  • Forum sections can be edited directly from the forum index.
  • Staff can update a section’s name and description or make it read-only.
  • Read-only sections remain visible to everyone, while only authorized forum staff can create threads or replies there.
  • Existing thread controls for pinning, locking, archiving, and deletion remain available.
Better member presentation:
  • Post author areas now show avatars, forum roles, join dates, and activity counts more clearly.
  • Founder, administrator, moderator, content editor, and member labels help identify official and staff responses.
This update does not change the forum’s original purpose—it makes the existing experience more comfortable, consistent, and practical for longer discussions.
Reactions, reporting, notifications, and deeper community profiles are still planned for future updates.
